Being algorithmically guided through music according to my own taste and the last.fm music database over the last year has been very interesting. I’ve discovered awesome new bands I’ve never heard of and still have yet to hear of them anywhere other than last.fm. Turns out Chris Dahlen has written an exhaustive piece on the world of music recommendation so I dont have to.
