One of my videos is a "viral video" on iFilmIfilm…  It would be nice if they could at least mention my name or post a link to the original post about it.  That way the ~5000 people who’ve watched it on their site wouldn’t have been so confused about it what the hell they we’re looking at.  I can’t complain too much because I didn’t even mention the creators of the audiotrack when I first published this video

UPDATE:  Doug (Producer, Viral Video) over at iFilm changed up the post.  He wrote me an email:

"This ganking has
been rectified.  I had the video on my desktop for about a week and then
forgot where I found it.  Which is pretty pathetic considering you
are one of my RSS feeds.  I am lazy sometimes, please forgive me."

Forgiven!

  • You're right. Problem is I disregarded it first myself by not having rights to the audiotrack I used ... oops :(
  • Yeah but doesn't this disregard your attribution share alike NON COMMERCIAL creative commons licence on your things here? iFilm isn't "non commercial" entity as they offer ttheir films supported by ads. (or what?)
  • I'm impressed by this iFilm person.

He must've been looking at his server logs or something to see that people we're being sent there from my site...
