How to post at a later date in Typepad

by Duncan on March 23, 2005

I wrote this post yesterday because I knew I’d be on a plane all day tomorrow, I mean today.  Posting into the future?  How can this be?  If you want to post something at a later date or time this is how you’d go about doing it in Typepad.  When you go to post something in Typepad underneath the "post continuation" box is this:

Publish_on

You can set the date for when you want something to appear:Publish_on_2

This is a handy feature for anniversaries, birthdays, and reminders…

While I’m on the subject I might as well mention that I think Typepad is awesome.  For people like me who don’t want to screw around with lots of code and design stuff but also want to be able to host files Typepad is great.

The people at Typepad have been very gracious concerning my bandwidth usage as well.  A couple months ago I was %10 000 over my bandwidth limit and they were gracious enough to just send me an email asking to stop hogging the pipe.  Their customer support is actually useful as well.  Imagine that a customer support system that actually works.  Hard to imagine isn’t it?  While they may be slow with the roll out of new features I highly recommend the service.  Some people have taken the recommendation

People submit their questions to me (over any subject, I do specialize in relationships) and I respond in one to two days. No other advice site can live up to that promise!
